At Ali Cat Vintage, we have carefully curated a collection of unique vintage and second-hand gems inspired by the iconic styles of the 1980s and 1990s. Each piece is chosen to make a bold statement, perfect for the dancefloor and designed to elevate your wardrobe. Our mission is to promote individuality and sustainable fashion with every item we source.
How it started
From childhood, clothing has been an obsession of mine. At just three years old, I would rush to the dress-up box at nursery school, always choosing my favourite dress to wear every day. As I grew, my obsession only deepened; I would spend all my pocket money and earnings from weekend jobs on popular 90s high-street fashion brands. Eventually, I discovered vintage and second-hand websites, allowing me to indulge in my obsession more sustainably. My fascination with style from past eras led me to seek out unique and rare vintage, often travelling with an empty suitcase to source gems from around the world. This passion sparked the creation of Ali Cat Vintage in 2018 after a trip to Budapest, filling my suitcase with incredible finds from markets and thrift stores. I then began selling my finds on platforms like Depop and eBay. My first ever pop-up was at The Imaginarium in Leeds at their 2019/2020 New Year's Eve Party, and in 2021 I launched Ali Cat Vintage on Instagram where it really started to flourish. I love going out to clubs and festivals, and I love being on the dancefloor. This is the place where I find most of my inspiration for the styles I source. My mission now is to help you discover unique statement pieces that boost your confidence and enable true self-expression, crafting a signature style that celebrates your individuality.
